The Benešovská pahorkatina is extensive, with peaks rising up to 600 metres above sea level. The mighty Vltava flows through its centre, bound by the dams of the cascade. For our trip we chose
Kamık and the surroundings of the Slapy dam. The landscape is breathtaking and the elevation is considerable, almost like the Beskydy Mountains. The most beautiful view is from the peak with
the characteristic name Krchov. And the romantic ruins of the royal castle end our journey.
